We are the non-profit association Djuren i skogen. Since 2010, we have been arranging Skogsfesten - a music and art festival with environmental focus situated at Fåfängerud, close to Lästvik Säteri in Dalsland. We are a mixed bunch of people, that came together out of our interest in environmental work and creating culture. Some of us have worked with the festival since the start, others join every year.
We want to create a festival that does not cost too much either for visitors or the environment. A lot can be created from very little - only one has the will, a lot of people and fun meanwhile. We strive towards having a solidary and equal distribution both on stage, among artists, activity leaders and in all our own work.
